If you’d prefer to immerse yourself in Cornish Christmas life why not head to the Boxing Day Barbecue at Clovelly, which includes free entry into this gorgeous historic village for the day, or, head to Mousehole anytime in December to see the fantastic festive lights that adorn the harbour, accompanied by a glass of something warming.  

For the more adventurous of you, there’s always the Christmas Day Swim in Bude at Crooklets Beach, a tradition that has been going on for over 35 years and is attended by thousands of people every year. Or just enjoy the benefits of cold water in the Bude Sea Pool or get your surfboard out and enjoy one of the best times of year for waves.
