A couple – Chef & FOH or Two Chefs
We are looking for a couple (accommodation included) to cover either the roles of two chefs, or a chef and Front of House at our on site Yard Bar. Reception
As the first point of contact for our guests, working as a receptionist at our holiday park is all about creating a welcoming, helpful, and positive experience from the moment people arrive. You’ll be the friendly face of the parkโhandling check-ins and check-outs, answering questions, managing bookings, and helping guests make the most of their stay in Cornwall. No two days are the same, and great communication, organisation, and a calm, can-do attitude are essential.
Shop
As a shop assistant at our holiday park, youโll help create a positive and convenient experience for our guestsโwhether theyโre picking up breakfast essentials, local gifts, or treats for the beach. Youโll keep the shop clean, well-stocked, and welcoming, while offering friendly service with a smile. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, staying organised, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced, holiday environment.
Office Team
Our office team currently consists of an HR Manager, Office Manager, Marketing & Design Manager and Accounts, with Graeme Colwill and daughter, Charlotte Veale, at the helm as Directors of their family run holiday park! Our office is located upstairs in the main reception building at the heart of Wooda Farm Holiday Park.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping is a key part of creating the five-star experience our guests expect. As a housekeeping team member, youโll be responsible for keeping our accommodation clean, fresh, and ready for new arrivalsโmaking sure every guest feels comfortable and welcomed from the moment they step inside. Itโs a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and pride in your work.
Facilities cleaning
As a facilities cleaner, youโll play an essential role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect from a five-star holiday park. Youโll be responsible for keeping shared areasโsuch as shower blocks, toilets, laundries, and other communal spacesโclean, hygienic, and welcoming throughout the day. This is a role where reliability, consistency, and attention to detail truly make a difference to the guest experience.
Maintenance
As a maintenance technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring our holiday park runs smoothly and safely for all guests and staff. Youโll be responsible for routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and quickly resolving any issues that ariseโkeeping facilities, accommodations, and equipment in top condition. This role demands practical problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work across a variety of trades.
Groundsmen
As a groundsman, youโre a vital part of keeping our holiday park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming for all our guests. From maintaining lawns and gardens to managing paths and outdoor facilities, your work helps create the perfect setting for a memorable stay in Cornwall. This hands-on role requires practical skills, a good eye for detail, and a real love of working outdoors.
On-Call Site Wardens
As an on-call site warden, you are the vital link between our guests and the team, providing support, security, and assistance during out-of-hours periods. Your role is to respond promptly to any emergencies, guest queries, or site issuesโensuring everyone feels safe and cared for at all times. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, calmness under pressure, and a strong sense of responsibility..
Chefs & Kitchen Staff
Our talented team of chefs and kitchen staff work hard behind the scenes to create delicious, locally inspired dishes for our guests to enjoy in The Lodge Takeaway and Yard Bar & Kitchen. They take pride in serving food thatโs fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented. This role is about upholding the highest standards of hygiene, and working well in a busy environment.
Front of House โ Bars & Restaurants
As a Front of House team member, youโll be the welcoming face of our bars and restaurants, providing excellent customer service and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean, friendly environment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team are essential to succeed in this fast-paced, customer-focused role.
Bar Staff
As a member of our bar team, youโll be at the heart of creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy great drinks and company. Whether serving refreshing beverages, preparing snacks, or helping with events, your friendly attitude and efficient service help make every visit memorable. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in excellent customer service.
Restaurant Runner
As a restaurant runner, youโll be the essential link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food and drinks are delivered quickly, accurately, and with a smile. Your role keeps the service flowing smoothly and helps create a positive dining experience in our friendly, family-run environment. This job is perfect for someone energetic, organised, and customer focused.
